Life is so hectic!  We buy into the myth that the more one does the more gets done.  Hmmm…not sure if this is true or not.  Maybe it is and maybe it isn’t.  One thing is for sure, my kids don’t have another chance at having their birth parents around (this is not to say that God may provide additional parents in a good or bad situation).  I am simply trying to communicate the vast importance of life with family.

The weather still hasn’t quite broken but it is close.  Perhaps you can spend some time taking long slow walks with the family.  Breathing deep.  Enjoying one another.  God may provide a window to your kids souls and your soul.  You may enjoy a new insight shared from  your spouse.  At night your kids may say, “Thanks for hanging out with us!”

What a legacy…time spent with your family.  To all those who are getting ready to have kids (set the patterns early).  To those who have kids and are running the rat race (it is not too late to say “no” to the urgent and spend time with your family) and to those who are leading the way for all of us in truly being FAMILY-  THANK YOU!!
