Personal
Engage in a life-long learning process of loving God with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength and loving my neighbor as myself. (Duet. 6:5 and Matt. 22:36-39)
Through a progressive understanding of the sacrifice Jesus Christ made for me, I will seek to live an others focused life. I am learning the importance of maintaining a close walk with God so He can fill me to overflowing and His love may flow from me to others. (John 7:37-38)
My others focused life will be prioritized by first defining my God-given responsibilities and second, discovering roles God may have for me based on my gifts and talents. I commit to stewarding all of the above to the best of my ability.

Student Ministry and Short-term missions
8. How did you end up in ministry?
Traveled on a summer college ministry team in 1993 and changed my major to youth ministry the next semester.
9. Why are you in the ministry?
Undeniable call from God to be a practitioner in local church ministry and para-church ministry. To this point, it has been the best stewardship of the gifts I’ve been given to accomplish God’s purposes through me.
10. If you could design a Church from scratch, what one or two things would it include?
· Clear teaching on ministry through word and deed.
· Global focus
· Strong teaching on stewardship of resources for Kingdom purposes
