what are you reading really?

I have the privilege of going towards more education…the class–>  Spiritual Mentoring.  The books I have read and am reading for the class.

1.  Clinton, Bobby & Paul Stanley.  Connecting

2.  Hagberg, Janet & Robert Guelich.  The Critical Journey

3.  McIntosh, Gary & Samuel Rima.  Overcoming the Dark Side of Leadership

4.  Reese, Randy & Keith Anderson.  Spiritual Mentoring

5.  Willard, Dallas.  The Divine Conspiracy

6.  Leadership Catalyst workbook, Forming the High-Trust Culture

The bulk of my January Blogs will cover material from these readings.  I will give my recommendations as to which of these books is a must read for 2009 or which one can wait to 2010…that sounds weird doesn’t it (2010)?  Wow!  Time is flying.

I was encouraged to ask the following questions of God this morning:

HOW CAN I LOVE YOU MORE TODAY?

HOW CAN I WORSHIP YOU MORE TODAY?

IN WHAT WAYS CAN I USE MY WORDS TO HONOR YOU AND BLESS OTHERS?

HOW CAN I PRAY MORE EFFECTIVELY TODAY?

It beats the overused prayers for self and blessing and pushes us to God.
