Greg has formerly served as the Pastor of Student Ministries at Calvary Church from 2000-2008. Immediately prior to coming to Lancaster he was the Pastor of Student Ministries at Cypress Bible Church in Cypress, Texas for six years (1994-1999). He played college football at Guilford College in Greensboro, North Carolina where he received a BS in Business Management (1987-1991). Greg received his Master’s of Divinity at Columbia International University (1991-1994).
He married a sweet girl, Allison, who he met while studying for his M-DIV. They were married December 19, 1993 and have four children Seth (1997), Sean (1998), Sophie (2002) and Sawyer (2004). Both Greg and Allison have a desire to see people get mobilized and encouraged to develop or maintain a world vision and heart for the community just outside the walls of the Church. Having ministered with teenagers for over eighteen years, God has led them to mobilizing a church towards a both and mentality for reaching the world. They believe Acts 1:8 commands the church to be a witness to Jerusalem AND Judea & Samaria AND the uttermost parts, not either or! They have participated and led nearly 20 short term trips. Allison spent 1.5 years in Japan teaching English as a foreign language. Additionally, Greg has been an assistant football coach at Manheim Township High School in Lancaster, PA and is a certified Cat and Dog Theology conference speaker.
